Problem:
  1. My login and password doesn't work.

Possible Solution - Try typing in your user name and password again.  You may have mistyped them. Keep in mind that both are 'case' sensitive. This is especially important to those of you who regularly type with 'Caps Lock' on.

  2. The log-in procedure returns a "page not found" or nothing happens when I click the 'Submit' button.

Possible Solution - This could involve an incompatibility between your cookie settings and our site.  Most web sites use cookies to manage visits from site users.  Our cookie usage:  This site does not use cookies to save any data on the user or track the user's movements on the site.  This site does use cookies but only for very limited purposes.  One type of cookie we use is a temporary session cookie that we use to decide whether a user can log in and have access to private subscription content.  This cookie goes away when the user's browser is closed and no data is saved.  This site also uses an "affiliate cookie" which tracks whether a user was referred to us by one of affiliates.  This cookie only contains the affiliate's name and does not save or maintain any information about the user.  Cookie usage on your browser is controlled by the security and private settings.  Click Here to learn more about "cookies"

  3. The site seems to have outdated files.

Possible Solution - Flush your browser's cache. If you are using Internet Explorer, on the menu bar and click on Tools, then Internet Options. Then on the "General" tab, in the middle of the page, click on Delete Files and click ok. This will delete previous cached versions of our Web site that may not be working. This will give you a clean slate to access the Web again.

If you are using AOL 4.0 or 5.0, which includes a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, then click on 'My AOL Preferences' and then 'WWW'. Then follow the same instructions as above, i.e., on the 'General' tab, click on 'Delete Files' in the middle of the page and the click ok.

In Netscape Communicator 4.05, click on 'Edit' then 'Preferences'. Click the plus sign to the left of the 'Advanced' menu item. Click on 'Cache'. Click on the two buttons 'Clear Memory Cache' and 'Clear Disk Cache,' and click ok. This will flush cached versions of the Web site and allow you to load the latest version.
